Radio Flotilla >> in this performance work Johnny Forever and Gambletron build a floating transmission platform comprised of ten to fifteen radios. Gambletron transmits live experimental glitch/noise mixed with heavy beats and modified vocals to the radios out on the water where Forever physically manipulates the soundscape, turning and tuning the radios while fighting waves. The piece was first performed on Lake Ontario as part of Camp Wavelength 2015, Artscape, Gibralter point, Toronto.
In 2018 Gambletron and Johnny Forever collaborated with artist and writer Jes Dolan to restage the work in the Atlantic ocean waters off the coast of Québec as part of the Grande rencontre des arts médiatiques en Gaspésie in conjunction with Les Percéides - Festival international de cinéma et d'art de Percé.
